中山六院生殖中心于2016年牵头成立华南地区首家“生育力保存库”,2021年获批建立广东省生育力保护及保存工程技术研究中心,自主研制高效卵母细胞体外成熟系统并推广至全国各地,也完成了国内首例单卵双胎卵巢组织原位移植,使绝经患者恢复月经来潮;完成国内首例青春期前患者卵巢冻融移植并恢复患者青春期发育,在卵母细胞/胚胎冷冻、卵巢组织冷冻及移植等生育力保存方向有丰富的临床、基础及临床转化经验。
